Fuel Level Sensor with frequency output (LLS-F)
CAP LLS-F with frequency output has more accurate and stable readings in comparison with CAP LLS-A, while the price is the same. Recommended for developers of perspective monitoring platforms.
Fuel level is coded by frequency, that linearly varies with the level. The waveform - meander 50%, the amplitude is equal to the supply voltage.
Benefits of Fuel Level Sensor with frequency output:
- Greater resistance to external interferences, "poor masses" and other interferences due to the large signal amplitude.
- No loss of data quality on ADC terminal compared to the analog output.
- Low cost (equal to the cost of LLS with an analog output), cheaper than digital sensor.
Disadvantages of Fuel Level Sensor with frequency output:
- Generally the lack of program support from the AVL terminal.

CAP fuel level sensors now have new feature. Our sensors are completed with plastic plug: special fitting which permits to cut it to any necessary height to fit the fuel tank perfectly. In addition, plastic plug protects LLS from water, mud, and dirt that accumulates on the fuel tank bottom, and allows to avoid short circuit. |
